Over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and general wellness products can be purchased without a prescription. However, Schedule H, H1, and X (controlled) drugs strictly require a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner. We cannot dispense these without one.

You can upload your prescription by WhatsApp to +91 98765 43210 or by emailing a clear photograph to pharmacy@desaihospital.in. Our team will verify it and confirm your order within 30 minutes. Delivery typically takes 2–4 hours depending on your location.

Our pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — including all government and national holidays. There are always at least two registered pharmacists on duty at any time.

Yes. Generic medicines contain the same active ingredient, dosage, strength, route of administration, and intended use as their branded counterparts. They are required by law to meet the same quality standards and undergo bioequivalence testing. We only stock generics from WHO-GMP certified manufacturers.

Due to regulatory requirements and patient safety concerns, medicines once dispensed cannot be returned or exchanged unless there was a dispensing error on our part. In such cases, please contact us immediately with your receipt and we will resolve it promptly.

Absolutely. Every dispensing is accompanied by counselling on dosage schedules, food-drug interactions, common side effects to watch for, and proper storage. For complex regimens (cancer, diabetes, HIV), dedicated counselling sessions can be scheduled with our clinical pharmacists.

Yes. We accept direct billing from most major insurance providers including Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY), CGHS, ESI, Star Health, HDFC ERGO, and many others. Please bring your insurance card and valid ID. Our billing team will process the claim at the counter.
